My boy had the previous version of this product, this new version is a small evolution (better attachment system to the bed that the old model). It is really a mobile advisor to the parents, and it is a useful gift. I know all children are different, but my boy uses it (the old model) every night since birth and it has soon 20 months. He has no security blanket, or a pacifier, but he falls asleep still the sound of the melodies of this mobile. We recommend it for all parents! I took the pink for my son because uqe I am told that the light would be softer, and indeed, it is very nice.
